Forrest 8
Forrest Year 8 students had an exciting week learning about money and science! In math, they practiced using Australian coins to plan for a cinema trip with friends. This helped them understand how to budget and spend wisely.
In science, they explored cool stuff like why things expand and contract. They did experiments, like mixing hot water from two glasses, to see what happens. They also figured out why lemons float in salty water but sink in regular water.
By doing these activities, the students are learning important skills like managing money and asking questions about the world around them. It's fun and practical learning that will help them in school and in life.
