Yagan 9

What a wonderful start Yagan 9 has had to the school year! The warm weather has certainly made it's presence known, and we have been finding lots of ways to try and stay cool! This term, in HASS we will be studying geography, focusing on the different climatic biomes around the world, along with food scarcity. The students will come to understand how delicate our eco-systems are, and how food scarcity can be a result of these systems being out of balance. In science, we delve into the world of biology, in particular eco-systems and the delicate dance that takes place within these systems. In English, we have been practising narrative writing, using a narrative plot diagram to help us to correctly structure our narratives. We are all looking forward to having a wonderful year, with rich learning opportunities, and lots of fun, in Yagan 9!
