Year 10 VET

In year 10 students are introduced to the start of their learning journey into the world of work. They engage in their first full VET qualification and start to develop the essential employability skills, qualities and attributes that they will be capable of transferring to a variety of settings. They start learning about self-management, exploring the world of work, career building, planning and goal setting.I am so proud to say all my students have far exceeded my expectations. They are the first class cohort to transfer to online learning achieving full competency in their Certificate l in Workplace Skills through IVET EDUCATION. The students adapted to this process effortlessly downloading all their assessment resources from the IVET portal. They organised a digital filing system according to each of the 6 Units of Competencies they were completing and saved each resource into the correct folder. They worked on their tasks efficiently and when completed they uploaded their assessments task sheets to the online IVET portal to be marked and assessed.Congratulations to all our year 10 students! I am so very proud of all the hard work and commitment you put towards your TAFE studies. You should all be so proud of yourselves; it is a brilliant accomplishment!
