Christmas Markets

Tuesday was the culmination of our Economics and Business unit of learning in Humanities and Social Science, with the students demonstrating their marketing and selling skills through the Christmas Market. To ensure that their product was effectively marketed at our annual Christmas Market event, throughout the term, students have been researching marketing strategies, completing a SWOT analysis, identifying competitors, purchasing, advertising, developing a business plan,and determining profit and as a result the overall market was a success.

As the event has now been running for six years it is a great opportunity for past students, future students and current families and friends to come together, to purchase creative Christmas products produced by our students. Based on some of the products and selling techniques that we witnessed on the day, it is evident that we have a lot of budding entrepreneurs.
