Bell 8
Here at Warnbro Community High School, Education Support Centre our Bell 8 class has worked up many steps travelling to the Perth Museum earlier this term. Students were supported to use public transport to travel and learnt about nature, people and places that they are part of. The excursion enhanced the student's classroom learning regarding rocks, their origin and classifications. Many more positive experiences were had at the museum, opening the student's eyes to the flora and fauna that we are a part of. We have been fortunate enough to have Dr.Draper teach us many things this term regarding Science, such as sound vibrations, light waves and using newton meters to measure force.
Smiles and laughter were the trademark of our sports excursion at Larkhill Sporting Complex. Again students accessed public transport to attend the big day. Many specialised schools from the local area attended and students reunited with old friends. Such a great community spirit, teaching resilience and teambuilding skills.
It can't be overemphasised, the build up to our upcoming year 8 camp is almost hitting a crescendo! Watch this space.
We have also been busy preparing for the famous WCHS ESC Christmas markets to be held week 9 . Bell 8 students are busy in the process of creating magnificent items to sell at the market with funds going to charity. Some of our products include traditional Christmas and non Christmas items so that we can include students and customers of all persuasions.
Almost the end of the year, our students are looking more mature and ready to venture into year nine 2024. Well done for all of your hard work.
