Final Year 7 Transition Lunch
Over the past ten weeks, the year 6 students from our feeder schools have been attending transition every Tuesday.Students would come in for two sessions and work with the Year 7 teachers Miss de Graauw and Mrs Sproule, where they explored subjects, they would be learning next year as well as developing their understanding of our school expectations around things like attendance, uniform, mobile phones and of course the 3 B’s.Subjects include HASS (where they did some history work around the Bubonic Plague), Maths (where students participated in maths rotations and different educational games) and Science (where students explored Chemistry by making Sherbet and Physics by watching Ms de Graauw light up a tea bag without using a flame.)It all concluded last Tuesday with students attending their first full day of High School. Students had the chance to do some Art and Cooking, with the day finished by a delicious lunch. Students also received their Certificates of Completion for successfully attending the ten weeks of school.Congratulations to all and we can’t wait to see them all back here in the new year, all in their Warnbro uniforms ready to start their Warnbro journeys!
