Workplace Learning T4 Week 4
Students in Year 11 and 12 once again put their best efforts into Workplace Learning last week, with some students returning to familiar employers and some trying their hand at new placements for term 4.
Jack and Tamati spent the week at Woolworths stocking and tidying shelves through the store.
Lauren and Krystal attended childcare centres where they assisted staff with activities, meals and general childcare duties.
Michael and Zach were at IGA where they worked across a variety of areas in the store including fresh produce and general produce.
Lee, Amber and Kaylene attended The Salvos Store again, fine tuning their skills in retail.
Will returned to Retzlaff Technology Services where he assisted the Manager with updating computer operating systems and security camera software updates.
Danika and Sarah were very busy at Red Dot with Halloween on the Tuesday and then starting to prepare for Christmas. Well done girls with putting some Christmas Trees together and assisting the store to get ready for the Christmas season.
Well done to all our fantastic students who are doing their best to assist employers and gain important employability skills for their future.Once again, a huge thank you goes out to our staff members who are out there supporting our students in gaining skills and confidence in the workplace. And finally, another HUGE thank you goes to our employers who welcome our students into their workplace. Their support and understanding goes a long way in giving our students the best possible experience in the community. Head to our Facebook page to view more photos.
