Consumer and financial literacy education is a vital life skill for all students to learn. In Hospitality, students begin their financial education by understanding why learning how to manage money in life, saving and planning and making good informed decisions will enable young people to be in control of their financial lives.Students continued their weekly budgeting programme by linking the connection between the coffee enterprise profit and loss spreadsheet and their own budgeting experience. They also compared the coffee sales trend in term 2 and observed that we make more money on Fridays than Thursdays! 🙂
