Tan 9

In Term 3, Tan 9 students have been exploring food production and sustainability.

They have learned about how food is grown, transported, consumed, and wasted, and the impact this has on the environment, economy, and health.

Through hands on activities, they discovered how our food choices affect the planet and how climate, geography, and culture influence food availability. Students also explored the issue of food scarcity and developed empathy for those around the world facing hunger.

By the end of the project, students will have created a sustainability action plan, showing how we can make our food systems fairer and more sustainable in our community.
