"CHICKEN JOCKEY!” echoed through the school last term, thanks to the wild popularity of the Minecraft movie hitting cinemas over the holidays. So when Tan 9 was tasked with creating a sculpture entirely from recycled materials, the choice was obvious, we had to bring the Chicken Jockey to life.

What followed was a relentless creative journey: layers of paint, structural problem-solving, and a whole lot of perseverance.

The final result? A bold, blocky tribute to creativity and determination. The Chicken Jockey now stands proudly as a reminder that when you stick with your goals, amazing things can happen.
