Big Day In

On Wednesday 11th June, thirteen students from years nine to twelve participated in The Big Day In at Koorliny Arts Centre in Kwinana. The day aimed at secondary students looked at IT careers. Starting with a talk by a Microsoft professional, the students heard a number of interesting talks on topics such as cyber security and the Australian Defence Force. The students also enjoyed walking around the expo, where they were able to talk to people working in the IT industry. After a sausage for lunch, everyone returned back to school challenged and thinking about the changing world we live in.
