ANZAC Ceremony

On Wednesday 30th of April, Warnbro Community High School and Warnbro Community High School ESC came together to hold a ANZAC Assembly in honour of the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing, as well as two other significant milestones in miliary history the 75th anniversary of the commencement of the Korean War, and the 75th anniversary of the Malayan Emergency.

ANZAC stands for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. ANZAC Day, observed each year on April 25, marks the anniversary of the Gallipoli campaign in 1915. It is a time to remember and pay tribute to all service men and women who have served our nations in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping. Please see our Facebook page for more photos.
