Forrest 8
The Forrest 8 class has been learning about identity and community in HASS and English. Using Bronfenbrenner’s Microsystem Model, they explored how family, friends, school, and community shape who we are. Through journaling and group discussions, students have built confidence and celebrated what makes them unique.
In Maths, students have been working with place value up to 10,000 through use of concrete materials ie hands-on activities. They practiced expanded notation, skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s, and worked with odd and even numbers.
It has been great to see Forrest 8 working hard, being creative, and supporting each other in their learning!
