Warnbro's Got Talent 2024

On Wednesday we hosted our Annual Warnbro's Got Talent. (WGT) We held it at Warnbro Community Church which added to the atmosphere of the event due to their stage, lighting and sound. We had a ventriloquist act, solo and duo singing acts and some fantastic dancing. WGT is always a highlight of our school year, and the students work hard to practice and perfect their act to share with the school. We had some nerves beforehand, but when showtime started, they all seemed to disappear! Each student gave an even better performance than their practice and we are so proud of their confidence and positivity.

Back by popular demand Whitney Cent and MC El returned to teach us all to beatbox while the judges had the non enviable task of deciding on our winners. Congratulations to our winner Rocky, who's voice captured everyone's attention. In second place Te 'Awa for his enthusiastic dancing to "You can't touch this" with Miss Davies, and third place to Ritchie who wowed us all with singing, dancing and costume changes!

Thank you to our MC's Harrison and Mr Beattie, for introducing the acts and encouraging the audience to support our performers, and to Miss Benson for supporting our practices during the term. We also need to thank Miss Amanda and Mrs Nvota for organising the event and all the behind-the-scenes logistics that make it so successful. Last but not least, our incredible performers who are all Superstars in our eyes! We are so proud of each and every one of you! Thank you for giving us all such an entertaining afternoon.
