Year 9 Bell and Forrest

Year 8 students from Bell and Forrest classrooms had an incredible opportunity in Week 9, Term 3, to participate in an engaging and interactive incursion delivered by the passionate team from the Gold Industry Group!

Students explored the everyday uses of gold (who knew it was in so many things?) and gained insights into the economic, environmental, and social impact of Australia's gold industry. They learned about the significance of gold in shaping our nation and the diverse careers it offers.

To top it off, students got hands-on with a STEM activity, building pulley systems and experiencing the engineering side of gold mining. What an amazing experience! #STEMLearning #GoldIndustry #Year8Explorers #InteractiveLearning #FutureCareers #BellAndForrest
