Leadership - Cert I Term 3

To complete their Certificate I in Leadership, our Year 12 students were required to complete 2 group projects. The students worked together and decided to complete an Art Project and run an event to present the painting to the school as a parting gift from the Graduating Class of 2024.

The class worked with Reuben, our Aboriginal Support Officer, to create a piece inspired by Aboriginal story telling to represent their own journey throughout the school. Students all chose a moment special to them from their time at the school and worked together through all steps of the creation process. Last week the students held an Unveiling Event to present the painting to the school.

We are all so proud of the students for the way they utilised all their skills from the Leadership Course to work together so well throughout both projects. It was such a positive way for the students to finish their course. The students have all voiced their pride in their work and hope that staff and students will look at the painting in the years to come and remember fondly the Class of 2024.
