Workplace Skills 2 Term 3

This term, during week 4 and 8, the students in the Workplace Skills 2 class, have been developing their own micro enterprises. There have been a variety of ideas and the students have been working hard to make these ideas into a small business. Some of the ideas have been: car washing, tie-dye T-shirts, baking and selling cookies, a Minecraft recess club, making stuffed potatoes for staff lunches, a song lyrics book and gardening. The students were able to use many different skills, for example, research their idea, where to buy the resources, how to manage a personal budget, to communicating ideas clearly and persuasively, also marketing and production.
