Pathway Planning Week 8 Term 3
Last week our year 11 and 12 students participated in another successful Pathway Planning Week.
Will, Lauren, Lee and Sarah all attended Workpower Rockingham for the first time and will continue attending once a week.
Lauren and Will also attended The Salvos Store, along with Bayley, Kaylene and Caitlin. They did a great job sorting donations, stocking the shelves and clothing racks.
Jackson and Zen provided a great service at Chorus Kwinana detailing their fleet vehicles right down to the rims. The Volunteer Coordinator at Chorus was very impressed with how shiny the vehicles were by the end of the week.
Angelique and Krystal attended Petstock Rockingham where they assisted staff with stocking shelves, pricing items and feeding the fish.
Zach continued his weekly volunteering at IPL Radio and workplace learning at Woolworths.
Once again we had two groups of students who volunteered at Horsepower on the Tuesday and Wednesday. Isabella, Angelique, Conner, Rebecca, Lauren, Krystal and Sarah all put in a tremendous amount of effort cleaning the yards, grooming and feeding the horses and assisting with any tasks required on the day.
Ali from Horsepower sent a message to the school through the week with sentiments that acknowledged the impact our students make in the community.
Well done to all our students who participated, your efforts are noticed and appreciated!
