On Friday week 2, some of our students from year 8, 9, 11 & 12 travelled to Perth Convention Centre to attend a Defence Force Expo. The students were those that were involved in a cadet program or expressed a keen interest in the Defence Forces. The students had a great time trying out the virtual experiences seeing what it was like walking through a Navy Ship. They had the opportunity to speak with members of the Army, Navy and Airforce finding out what kind of jobs are available in the forces and asking a plethora of questions! One of our students was even interviewed for the channel 10 news. All students had a fantastic time, learning more about a topic they are passionate about while representing our school in a very positive way.
